The game developer company Supercell first came into highlights with the game Clash of Clans. After its astounding success, they decided to build Clash Royale, which was released worldwide on March 2, 2016.
Clash Royale Epic Cards: The Troops for Epic Battle
A game completely based on cards, which has defence buildings, troops and spells, that can be used up in a multiplayer battle arena, created the new hype.If you are new to it, here are some FAQs you may be looking for!
What about the gameplay?
To win a battle you must smash more towers of the opponent’s castle, or wreck opponent’s “King’s Tower” straight, that directly brings you three “crown” victory. At the start of each game, both players are given a “hand” of four cards from a “deck” of eight cards chosen by the player. Cards can be used to attack and defend. Each time after placing a card, a new card is drawn from the deck in your hand.
What is the deal with the cards?
Cards are the only methods of charging troops, brewing spells and setting down defences. Those can be bought using “gold” or can be found in the battle arena in “chests”. “Elixir” is required to play the cards. All health and damage statistics are increased by vaguely 10% per level for every card played.
Four types of cards, according to rarity, are available in the game:
1. Common cards ( grey or light blue in colour)
2. Rare cards (orange in colour)
3. Epic cards( purple in colour)
4. Legendary cards ( rainbow in colour)
And here are some trivia about the cards you should know!
• You will get one epic card during the tutorial, guaranteed.
• Epic cards can only be requested once every Sunday.
• Legendary cards cannot be donated or requested.
• All the cards can be exchanged with gold if necessary.
Every Common card maximum gives 5 Gold.
Every Rare gives 50 Gold.
Every Epic gives 500 Gold.
Every Legendary gives 20,000 Gold.
Bashing the enemy with the epic cards!
After you play the game for a while, epic cards will be unlocked. These troops are much more powerful than the common or the rare card ones, here you can see the descriptions.
What is a P.E.K.K.K.A? A Knight? A samurai? A robot? No one knows! But this lady in dazzling armour and a bright sword is a slow but amazing hitter against all the ground targets deployed- be in troops or towers. With a damage per second of 283 and a high hitpoint of 2600 in just level 1, this loyal soldier practically almost doesn’t die. Working greatly under rage spell, you can make P.E.K.K.A invincible if paired up with walks or giants, or even better – golem.
If you are looking for ‘the’ perfect shield, these rocky monsters are exactly what you can spare while attacking. The damage per second is 195, yet slow but steady warriors of stones, with an enormous hitpoint of 3200, the golems move towards the defences on the ground, while valkyries, prince or P.E.K.K.A charges the opponent and easily bring an end to them. If the golem dies, two small go le mites with 650 hitpoints are generated which can kill time and distract the enemy defence well.
Who knew the cute green flying creatures, with their tongue sticking out their mouth like pet dogs, could be so vicious? The baby version of the dragon, with an area splash damage per second of 62, is pretty good in taking down both air and ground targets whether it is a defence or a troop. Best paired up with balloons for an all-air attack, they attack amazingly under rage spell. With a prince along with them, it is hard to kill the lot with hitpoints of 800. Yes, look out for the babies!
These bomb-dropping huge flying artefacts target the buildings like crown towers and ignoring the troops they are hit by, advances towards its aim without a flinch. Though they have 200 damage per second, the hitpoints are quite large (1050). Whether with baby dragons or mega minions, the balloons take a great deal to be damaged especially while a rage spell is dropped on them. And if a shielded by a lava hound, trust me, a parade of balloons in the horizon is the last thing you want to see.
Menacing woman with hypnotising pink eyes shooting beams of destruction – what else can be asked for from this spooky lady? No, there is even more! The witch can evoke a horde of skeletons which cannot be stopped unless the conjurer is killed. With low hitpoints (500), they must be shielded either by giants or golem for these are the best distractions available. Witches, with the 6 skeletons generating every second, work great under rage spell and the damage per second is 74.
Big Blue gigantic creatures throwing jumbo boulders can be your scariest nightmare once you encounter the bowlers. These troops with a genie-like appearance, advance linearly towards the ground target and toss rocks from a safe distance, i.e. can hit the opponent’s defence tower even from your side across the river. Teamed up with hogs or giants, the HGB is one of the best battle strategies ever invented because of their 1200 hitpoints and damage per second of 72. Your enemy cannot stand against the bowlers once you learn to use them at their best.
When you are a damsel in distress, the prince on his prancing pony and sharp lance, charges the enemy and when he gains speed damages twice(490) with his special ability. It is better to choose this guy at the beginning of your round as he can perform even better than a well-trained knight or barbarians. An alone prince may be swarmed by troops even with its hitpoints 1100, but once paired up with a witch or wizards as a backup and Giants or golem as a shield, the bearded gentleman can be your knight in shining armour.
